WASHINGTON, June 11 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of the Interior Fish and Wildlife Service is seeking public comment on a proposal that would allow BP America Production Co., Houston, Texas, to incidentally harass a small number of Southern Beaufort Sea polar bears during environmental remediation work on Alaska's North Slope. The authorization would cover activities at the Foggy Island Bay State No. 1 gravel pad in the Prudhoe Bay area through May 31, 2027.
