WASHINGTON, May 19 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration announced on May 19, 2026, that it has received an application for a marine mammal research permit involving northern fur seals in Alaska. The application was submitted by the Marine Mammal Laboratory in Seattle, Washington state.
