WASHINGTON, April 17 -- Precise tracking of atmospheric conditions is replacing insufficient measurements in Ghana as the Environmental Protection Authority establishes a permanent monitoring network in the industrial hub of Tema. Supported by the University of Chicago Energy Policy Institute Air Quality Fund, the initiative provides real-time data to address pollution levels that frequently double World Health Organization guidelines in the Greater Accra Region.
