WASHINGTON, Feb. 19 (TNSFR) -- The Nuclear Regulatory Commission is reviewing an application for an early site permit from Duke Energy Carolinas LLC, Charlotte, for the Belews Creek site in Stokes County, North Carolina, a process that allows for the resolution of siting issues for potential nuclear power facilities independently of a construction permit or combined license.
