APHIS Seeks Public Comment on Pioneer Hi-Bred International Petition for Nonregulated Status of Maize

WASHINGTON, Feb. 18 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service announced that it has received a petition from Pioneer Hi-Bred International Inc., Johnston, Iowa, requesting a determination of nonregulated status for DAS-01131-3 maize. The corn variety is developed to produce the Cry1Da2 protein for protection against susceptible lepidopteran pests and the DGT-28 EPSPS protein for tolerance to glyphosate herbicide.
