WASHINGTON, Feb. 13 (TNSFR) -- The Mount Holyoke College Art Museum intends to repatriate six cultural items to the Stockbridge Munsee Community, Wisconsin. The museum determined that these unassociated funerary objects were intentionally placed with or near human remains during death rites or ceremonies.
The items identified for return include one adze, one lot of beads, one lot of iron ore, two pipes, and one pipe bowl. These objects were removed from various locations in Massachu . . .
