WASHINGTON, Feb. 7 -- Rep. Mike Haridopolos, R-Florida, issued the following news release on Feb. 6, 2025:
On Thursday, Congressman Mike Haridopolos (FL-08) voted with his fellow Republicans to pass H.R. 27, The HALT Fentanyl Act. This landmark legislation will permanently classify fentanyl-related substances in Schedule I of the Controlled Substances Act. By doing so, this bill will ensure law enforcement officers have the resources to keep Fentanyl out of American communities.
