NEW YORK, Jan. 30 -- The AFL-CIO Writers Guild of America East issued the following statement on Jan. 29, 2025:
The following is a statement from the Writers Guild of America East (WGAE) on the firing of National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) member Gwynne Wilcox and NLRB General Counsel Jennifer Abruzzo:
"The unprecedented and unlawful firing of NLRB member Gwynne Wilcox and the firing of General Counsel Jennifer Abruzzo is a transparent attempt to take power away . . .
