SYRACUSE, New York, Jan. 20 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of New York issued the following news release:
Willie Alvarado, Jr., 34, of Utica, New York, was sentenced last week to serve 8 years in federal prison for attempted possession with intent to distribute over 500 grams of cocaine and money laundering.
