WASHINGTON, Jan. 18 -- Accountable.US, an organization that says it conduct investigations to expose conflicts of interest, issued the following news release on Jan. 16, 2025:

Yesterday, Maryland Attorney General Anthony G. Brown filed a lawsuit against the rent-pricing algorithm company RealPage and eight corporate landlords in Maryland alleging the companies abused algorithmic pricing schemes to raise prices against renters.
