WASHINGTON, Jan. 14 (TNSFR) -- The Lowville & Beaver River Railroad Company (LBRR) has filed a notice of exemption to abandon a 10.57-mile rail line running from Lowville to Croghan, New York. The line has not seen any local or overhead freight traffic for over 15 years, and there are no pending complaints regarding the cessation of service.
