PHOENIX, Arizona, Jan. 10 -- Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes issued the following news release on Jan. 9, 2025:
Today, Attorney General Kris Mayes announced the creation of a Cold Case Homicide unit within the Attorney General Office. The new Cold Case unit will work closely with local law enforcement to re-examine unsolved cases with resources that may not be available at the local level, applying fresh eyes, advanced investigative techniques, and modern technology.
