WASHINGTON, Jan. 9 -- Sen. Ted Budd, R-North Carolina, issued the following news release:
Senator Ted Budd (R-NC) has co-sponsored a Constitutional Amendment for the 119th Congress, which would impose term limits on members of Congress. Under the amendment, House members would be limited to three terms, and Senators would be limited to two terms.
The amendment was originally introduced by Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Rep. Ralph Norman (R-SC).
