CHARLESTON, West Virginia, Jan. 9 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of West Virginia issued the following news release on Jan. 8, 2025:

Defendant was a Fugitive, Apprehended Overseas and Extradited to the U.S.

Dr. Alexander V. Otellin, 57, formerly of Charleston, was sentenced today to three years in prison, to be followed by three years of supervised release, for the unlawful distribution of oxycodone.
