NEWPORT NEWS, Virginia, Jan. 7 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia issued the following news release:
R&K Enterprises Inc. (R&K), headquartered in Newport News, has agreed to pay over $2.6 million to resolve allegations under the False Claims Act and the common law that the company represented that it was eligible for certain small business set-aside contracts when it did not meet the program rules to qualify as a small business.
