WASHINGTON, Jan. 7 (TNSFR) -- The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has withdrawn 103.92 acres of public land in Douglas County, Oregon from mining for 20 years.
The move aims to protect the recreational value of three public sites: Island Creek Recreation Area, Iron Mountain Recreation Area, and Olalla-Thompson Day Use Recreation Area.
