WASHINGTON, Dec. 17 -- Rep. Ruben Gallego, D-Arizona, issued the following news release:
Today, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) finalized the Junk Fee Rule prohibiting bait-and-switch pricing for event tickets and short-term lodging. The rule comes after Rep. Ruben Gallego (AZ-03) introduced the Junk Fee Prevention Act in April 2023 to eliminate burdensome hidden fees and require upfront pricing.
