RALEIGH, North Carolina, Dec. 21 -- Environment North Carolina issued the following news release:
As part of $125 million dollars in federal grants for wildlife crossings, the U.S. Department of Transportation will give its North Carolina counterpart $25 million to help provide safe passage for the state's dwindling red wolf population.
