Today, the U.S. Senate confirmed Judge Embry Kidd to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. U.S. Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin (D-IL), Chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee, released the following statement regarding Judge Kidd's confirmation:
