About 60% of LGBTQ Adults in LA County Spend Over 30% of Their Income on Housing

LOS ANGELES, California, Nov. 1 (TNSres) -- The UCLA School of Law Williams Institute issued the following news release:

Housing is a top priority for the more than 650,000 LGBTQ people in Los Angeles County. LGBTQ people in the county rent at higher rates compared to their non-LGBTQ counterparts (61% vs. 46%). Additionally, a greater percentage of LGBTQ adults (61%) are housing cost-burdened, defined as spending more than 30% of their household income on housing, compared to non-LG . . .
