HARRISBURG, Pennsylvania, Oct. 24 -- The Pennsylvania Senate Republicans issued the following news release on Oct. 23, 2024:
The Pennsylvania Senate approved legislation introduced by Sen. Michele Brooks (R-50) to expand Pennsylvania's Safe Haven Law (https://www.pa.gov/en/agencies/dhs/resources/secret-safe.html), allowing a parent to surrender their unharmed newborn at an urgent care center.
