BLACKSBURG, Virginia, Oct. 22 -- Virginia Tech issued the following news:
Virginia Tech Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) was awarded its eighth Susan Harwood Grant by the U.S. Department of Labor/Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) for $160,000, on Oct. 1.
OSHA-selected topics vary from year to year and are chosen based on accident statistics, national emphasis programs, and pending regulations. This year's grant is considered a target topic . . .
