WASHINGTON, Oct. 23 -- Rep. Eric Sorensen, D-Illinois, issued the following news release:
Today, Congressman Eric Sorensen (IL-17) along with seven of his colleagues called on the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Alejandro Mayorkas to make sure that surveillance cameras along the U.S.-Mexico border are working properly. A recent report from NBC(link is external) stated that nearly 30 percent of surveillance cameras along the border are broken.
