ALBANY, New York, Sept. 28 -- The State University of New York University at Albany issued the following news on Sept. 27, 2024:

Gamers at the University at Albany now have a state-of-the-art facility on the Uptown Campus they can call home.
Today, the University unveiled a new 4,000-square-foot arena to meet the growing needs of UAlbany Esports, which is among the country's largest collegiate competitive video gaming programs.
