MIAMI, Florida, Sept. 13 -- Miami-Dade County Public Schools issued the following news release:
The Miami-Dade County School Board approved a budget for the 2024-25 fiscal year last night that increases funding for mental health, services to students with disabilities, post-secondary education and bolsters security to ensure that students have a safe learning environment. The approved budget does this while maintaining among the lowest millage rate in over 40 years.
