Today, Congressman Nick Langworthy announced that Alfred University will receive a federal grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) in the amount of $347,740. This funding will be used to purchase a state-of-the-art in-situ infrared spectroscopic ellipsometry system that will be critical for driving forward research in fields like Ceramic Engineering, Glass Science, Materials Science . . .
