WASHINGTON, Aug. 12 -- Sen. Joe Manchin, D-West Virginia, issued the following news release:

Charleston, WV Today, U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (I-WV), member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, announced $298,303 from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) through the Assistance to Firefighters Grants Program (AFGP). This funding will bolster safety measures and support first responder preparedness in Lake and Leon.
