TRAVIS AFB, California, Aug. 10 -- The U.S. Air Force's Travis Air Force Base (60th Air Mobility Wing) issued the following news:
Team Travis will celebrate the final farewell for the KC-10 Extender in a two-day event September 25-26, 2024.
After decades of service, the KC-10 Extender, assigned to the 60th Air Mobility Wing and 349th AMW, will be decommissioned during various final farewell events hosted by Col. Jay Johnson, 60th AMW commander.
