SACRAMENTO, California, Aug. 7 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of California issued the following news release:
On Aug. 1, 2024, Sukhmanpreet Singh Jawanda, 22, of Yuba City, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Daniel J. Calabretta to 10 years in prison for trafficking fentanyl pills and illegally dealing firearms, U.S. Attorney Phillip A. Talbert announced.
According to court documents, in 2022, Jawanda sold fentanyl and at least six firear . . .
