BOSTON, Massachusetts, Aug. 6 -- The Massachusetts Public Interest Research Group issued the following news release on Aug. 5, 2024:
The Massachusetts Legislature passed An Act relative to the reduction of certain toxic chemicals in firefighter personal protective equipment, S.2902 today which if signed by the Governor will phase out the use of toxic PFAS in firefighters protective gear.
