WASHINGTON, Aug. 6 -- The U.S. Department of the Treasury Comptroller of the Currency issued the following news release on Aug. 5, 2024:
The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) today issued a proclamation allowing national banks, federal savings associations, and federal branches and agencies of foreign banks to close offices in areas of Florida and Georgia affected by Hurricane Debby.
