WASHINGTON, Aug. 5 -- Rep. Terri Sewell, D-Alabama, issued the following news release:
Birmingham, AL Today, U.S. Rep. Terri Sewell (AL-07) announced that the City of Birmingham has been awarded approximately $20 million by the U.S. Department of Commerce's Economic Development Administration (EDA) to create pathways to connect Northwest Birmingham residents to good jobs.
In December 2023, the Reinvest Birmingham Recompete Plan was named one of 22 Recompete Finalis . . .
