WASHINGTON, July 12 -- Sen. Joe Manchin, D-West Virginia, issued the following news release:

Today, U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (I-WV), member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, announced $87,500,000 from the U.S. Department of Transportation's (DOT) Bridge Investment Program (BIP) to reconstruct the Market Street Bridge in East Steubenville, West Virginia. The Market Street Bridge has been closed since December 2023 due to unsafe conditions and structural integrity.
