CHICAGO, Illinois, July 3 -- Kirkland and Ellis, a law firm, issued the following news release:

Kirkland & Ellis advised Reverence Capital Partners, a private equity firm focused on investing in financial services businesses, on its definitive agreement to acquire a majority stake in Sunstar Insurance Group, LLC, a leading independent retail insurance broker.

The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
