WASHINGTON, June 26 -- Rep. Doug LaMalfa, R-California, issued the following news release:
Today, Congressman Doug LaMalfa (R-Richvale) voted in support of H.R. 8790, the Fix Our Forests Act (FOFA), as it passed out of the House Natural Resources Committee on a bipartisan voice vote. It can now be sent to the House Floor for a full vote.
This bill contains several forestry policy initiatives aimed at streamlining and expediting environmental reviews for forest managemen . . .
