Today, Congresswoman Lori Trahan (MA-03), a former Division I athlete, issued the following statement after the House Education and the Workforce Committee passed the dubiously titled Protecting Student Athlete's Economic Freedom Act, partisan Republican legislation to limit college athletes' rights:
