WASHINGTON, June 5 -- Sen. Joe Manchin, D-West Virginia, issued the following news release:
Today, U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (I-WV) voted for the Right to Contraception Act, this legislation ensures that individuals have the right to access contraceptive drugs, devices, or biological products currently approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the purposes of preventing pregnancy. Almost 90 percent of Americans support access to all forms of birth control.
