WASHINGTON, June 5 -- Sen. Chris Van Hollen, D-Maryland, issued the following news release:
Today, U.S. Senators Chris Van Hollen and Ben Cardin and U.S. Congressman Glenn Ivey (all D-Md) announced two grants totaling $651,200 to improve local road safety in Prince George's County. The City of Laurel will receive $451,200, and the City of New Carrollton will receive $200,000, to develop comprehensive safety action plans aimed at preventing serious-injury and fatal roadway crash . . .
