AKRON, Ohio, May 29 -- Akron Public Schools issued the following news:
For the first time in a dozen years, voters in the Akron Public Schools district decide whether to approve new taxes this fall to pay for daily expenses and to build a new North High School.
The school board voted 6-0 Tuesday to put an operating levy and a bond issue on the ballot in November. The issues will appear on the ballot together, so voters would vote for or against the two issues as one uni . . .
