WASHINGTON, May 23 -- Rep. Chris Deluzio, D-Pennsylvania, issued the following news release on May 22, 2024:

Today, Congressman Chris Deluzio (PA-17) voted to pass the Federal Disaster Tax Relief Act of 2023. Among other disaster recovery measures, the bill includes a provision to exempt Norfolk Southern Railroad's payments to residents impacted by the East Palestine train derailment from federal taxes, something Congressman Deluzio has been pushing for since January.
