WASHINGTON, May 20 -- Rep. Terri Sewell, D-Alabama, issued the following news release:
York, AL --Today, U.S. Rep. Terri Sewell (AL-07) announced that the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) has awarded $145,200 to the City of York, Alabama. Funding comes from DOT's Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) grant program and will be used for a demonstration program to improve roadway and rail safety.
