WASHINGTON, May 16 -- Rep. French Hill, R-Arkansas, issued the following news release:
Rep. French Hill's (AR-02) bill to protect small banks and lenders from reporting requirements under the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau's (CFBP) harmful 1071 rule, the Small LENDER Act, today passed out of the House Financial Services Committee and is one step closer to advancing to the House Floor.
