BIRMINGHAM, Virginia, May 8 -- The United Mine Workers of America issued the following news release:
Members of United Mine Workers of America (UMWA) Local Unions 2133 and 8982 have ratified a new collective bargaining agreement at the Oak Grove metallurgical coal mine and Concord Preparation Plant in Jefferson County, Alabama, operated by Crimson Oak Grove Resources, LLC. After extensive negotiations, this agreement was ratified with 64.4 percent support from the membership.
