WASHINGTON, May 7 -- Rep. Bradley Schneider, D-Illinois, issued the following news release:
Today, Rep. Brad Schneider (IL-10) convened a bipartisan group of 30 House members for a closed-door meeting with Egyptian Ambassador Motaz Zahran. Schneider released the following statement after the call:
"As negotiations in Cairo over a ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas continue, today I convened several of my House colleagues for a frank and wide-ranging conversa . . .
