The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has awarded a grant of $1,002,963 to the Clinch Valley Community Action Head Start program. U.S. Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) released the following statement:

"Clinch Valley Community Action is an important advocate for early education programs serving the Counties of Bland, Smyth, Tazewell and Wythe."
