WASHINGTON, April 30 -- Sen. John Hickenlooper, D-Colorado, issued the following news release:
Today, U.S. Senators John Hickenlooper and Michael Bennet urged U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Secretary Pete Buttigieg to deploy all available resources following the closure of U.S. Highway 50, a critical East-West corridor for Colorado. With this closure, many of Colorado's Western Slope residents face six hours of travel time for a drive that normally takes 75 minutes.
