House Passes Stauber Legislation to Overturn Biden Mining Withdrawal in Superior National Forest

WASHINGTON, May 1 -- Rep. Pete Stauber, R-Minnesota, issued the following news release on April 30, 2024:

Today, Congressman Pete Stauber's (MN-08) Superior National Forest Restoration Act passed the House of Representatives. This legislation will overturn the Biden Administration's mineral withdrawal of 225,000 acres in the Superior National Forest, restore long-held mineral leases, and ensure timely reviews of Mine Plans of Operation.
