Gomez released the following statement after voting to send humanitarian aid to Gaza and Ukraine and to deliver a clear message to Iran:
"Our country has a duty to promote peace and stability around the world, and that includes providing humanitarian assistance to the people of Gaza, pushing for a ceasefire that lets Palestinians and Israelis . . .
