MACOMB, Illinois, April 5 -- Western Illinois University issued the following news release:

Western Illinois University will celebrate its 21st anniversary of the annual John Hallwas Liberal Arts Lecture. This year, WIU Trustee, Locke Lord LLP Partner, Regional Transportation Authority Chair and former State Senator Kirk Dillard will present on "The Value of a Liberal Arts Education in 2024," at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 9 in the University Union Grand Ballroom.
