TUSCALOOSA, Alabama, April 3 -- The University of Alabama issued the following news release:

The Barry Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Program has selected three University of Alabama students as Goldwater Scholars for 2024-2025.

The latest selections bring UA's number of Goldwater Scholars to 65.

The three students are Jackson Maxwell, of Pelham; Lena Seyfarth, of Janesville, Wisconsin; and Michael Zengel, of New Orleans.
